Forums being Hacked?

Some of the other Forums I visit seemed to have been hacked today (with one being recently restored), replacing with some rubbish and a search engine (which looks to be linked to Google).


Just seemed strange that this has been occurring, unsure if this means there is something lurking about out there which is trying to hack forums.

Haven't noticed anything here, though even if someone did hack it, with daily db backups we wouldn't lose much...

Unfortunately I have none because the forums which were effected have since been restored. It just a couple of other forums I go to were being Hacked by some other company.


I'll try and get a screenshot next time if I see any other forums being hacked.


Of course I wasn't sure if it was just me or if others were experiencing any of these issues of Forums being replaced with Commercial Rubbish & trying to get your business.

A couple of weeks ago, The Dragon Archive suffered a similar attack, with weird links in the main page, though promptly solved.
