Hmmm yeah, but if he doesn't list the games then I wouldn't bid - especially for shipping to out of the UK. I see a few compilations and several budget releases...

ukmarkh

There are just too many, by all means ask me about the games and I'll give you specific details?

Gryzor

Oh, it's your auction? :D Sorry about that. What about a list then? :) :)

MacDeath

How much for the complete set ?

Also how does cost the shipping ?

ukmarkh

I've listed it as a complete auction and this will now need to run its course... postage is around £2 for UK and 3 ish rest of the world.

If I get £20 I'll be happy

MacDeath

How much in €uros ?
Seriously, why didn't England join the €urozone ?
Would be easier...

I would need to see with my banker how to pay you perhaps, but well, I already own some of those.
And you put them on ebay, hope you'll get a good price.

I feel I need to defend my country a little here. The reason Britain opted not to use the Euro was because the pound was stronger than the Euro at the time... some think giving up our currency would mean losing a vital tool for trying to run the British economy in the interests of the British people – and for many that's an unacceptable loss of this country's independence. Anyway... it's far from self-evident that it's better to be inside the Euro, although I have personally always liked the idea of a single currency and a universal language. Just not practical, well at least not at the moment.

Back to the GX4000 stuff, Paypal or google will convert the pound into the euro value or vica versa.

Well, getting off-topic here (if anyone wants to carry this on, I'll gladly move this to Off-Topic), but I totally agree, and I mean it as an economist. The problem is that Europe is not a unified economic area in the economic science meaning. You can't shoe-horn an entire continent into a single economic plan. What you refer to is fiscal policy freedom and, indeed, we in the Euro zone lost all of that. I'm in Greece and lately  we see all the games that investment banks play on us, and it's quite possible that being in the Euro zone is what is saving us. On the other hand, though, it had worked against us in the past, since the policies were designed with the major states in mind - and by no means do these coincide with other countries' needs and wants!

I didn't see the point of starting a new topic, but over the next couple of days, weeks I'll be listing all m CPC games on ebay.

I've put a few up already, so use the link below to see the games I'm selling.

Gryzor

Ah, what a shame, it's not the original release of the Bard's Tale... though it's still very much worth it for everyone into RPGs and adventuring. Gotta check if I already have Thanatos or not!

ukmarkh

I have around another 100 Amstrad games to add... this ebay stuff is tiring.

Gryzor

Then do a lot sell... or donate them to the wiki ;)

ukmarkh

More games listed on ebay... and more to follow.

ukmarkh

Yes, somewhere... just soughting through the boxes and listing whatever comes out.

ukmarkh

Hi chaps... more CPC stuff listed on ebay today, plus these rare disks that I purchased on this very forum some years back!

All international buyers accepted, apart from the Republic of Ireland and Italy due to strict customs and constant headaches whenever I send to these countries.
