Bryce

Hi All,
My latest and most ambitious project yet was "released" this morning:

"Bryce 2.0" weighed in at a healthy 4.54Kg (10 pounds for all you imperialists) and 55cm (21.7") long. The initial "functional tests" seem to suggest that all is working as expected and the project is a definite success. However, as it is with such projects, I expect I'll have to invest many further hours to ensure everything continues to run smoothly (I hear these projects tend to experience teething problems). So my 8-bit development will have to take a backseat for a while. I still intend to regularly visit and contribute to the Wiki and it's Forum, but once I have finished the MegaFlash orders, there'll be no further projects for a while.

Bryce.

Congrats !!!

You should publish the circuit scheme or some kind of guide for dummies so we can do it ourselves !!

HAL6128

Hi, congrats also from my side and best wishes to the young family!

"Bryce 2.0 with special AI-ROMs implemented". Just wait about 14 or 15 years of learning. You won't be good enough in hiding the keys of your car.  ;)

I terrified my parents, by disassembling every single electronic device in the house to "See how it works" when I was just seven/eight years old :D My parents were probably relieved when I started showing interest in the car :D

Bryce.

Gryzor

Was your family car so cheap that they'd prefer you to ruin that instead? :D

Bryce

No, I said "probably"! My interest in cars worried them too, just not as much :) And cars didn't have electronics back then, so there wasn't much worth taking apart :D

Congratulations! Now almost everything in your live will change, but in a very positive way. Even if there will be minutes and maybe hours where you will not be really sure about that. :-)

rpalmer

congrats bryce ;D

I guess names like roland, arnold, or joyce are not the one you considered.

Bryce

No, we'll be sticking with traditional Irish names (and I don't mean Cú Chullainn :D )

Bryce.

McKlain

Congratulations! So you made a plus version of yourself  ;D

Bryce

Well I'm not 100% sure there's any major new features, but there was definitely room for improvement :D

A boy. And just like I did, he'll be getting his first Soldering Iron for his seventh birthday. I'll let him know that his first project is a buzzing neon avatar?

Bryce.

However, it's never to early to get CPCing :-))))) (Ok, the young man should be able to walk without help and there shall be no bunny paintings around electrical plugs ;) )
