Maybe that's punishment for owning a C64

That's your definition of "scoring"?? A bird with more lip-hair than Tom Selleck and a "Goldilocks" haircut doesn't count as a "score" in my books!

THE 80's... actually more "porn" than "sexy" than 70's...

nice moustache anyway. (the man's's too)
and nice bangs... (the girl's too)

Not sure if Code or Coed... (she must be GILF theses days anyway)

real question is : were are the mass data storage and screen connected ? is this just the power supply ? so they probably simulate...

(i am actually a bit alarmed that none of you noticed that with only this cable the C64 cannot actually work... seems the lady only offers one unique port... I am both confused and ashamed...)
(especially YOU, Bryce...)
;D )

BTW "Beate'" old school german 80's porn is somewhat... collector and artisticallly searched for... by somes...
Nostalgia can't be expained.

8bit stories might interest people are here, but attracting someone because you've got an <Insert your favourite 8bit Microcomputer Here>, isn't realistic surely. Just wonder if some of the stereotyping is still occurring with us enthusiasts or are we certifying our-selfs when we adapt new technologies with our old computer?  :D  I have to wonder we're we placed with regard to modern society - heavens forbid we compared to some dude with their 60s PDP machine, by the same token would they enjoy it if people thought they went into the Microcomputer group?

I sure hope nobody makes a movie out of it where their hurdling computers at each other.  :o

Actually the cable that's connected is the IEC cable (for floppy drives etc), the power connector is at the side. I did notice it, but it's a typical magazine cover setup, they rarely connect them up properly for these shots.

80s? Hardly. The looks are more reminiscent of the 70s. Makes sense considering that the magazine is from 83 and some people need a bit longer to adapt to new fashion.

The guy looks like he just returned drunk from the Octoberfest and was not picky about the girl's looks. At least his slighty puffy red face indicates that.

I was trying to make her look like typically 2015 but failed. Blame my lack of imagination. The only cable on the picture dangles about as limp as mine when looking at her. Pardon my French.

Women in Starbucks usually have a pram with them, so not exactly the type one wants to attract.

I get to the top of your list with my knowledge of Commodore!!  :o I thought that would have dropped me even further down the list.

Bryce.

@Morn: That's a bit unfair! (to Stephen Fry).

Exactly, Mrs Fry is gorgeous, insanely rich, and married to a Louis Tomlinson lookalike. She is simply the MILF-iest MILF who ever MILFed!  :D

I think that Wilde movie got a bit to Stephen's head. Apparently he now thinks he's the reincarnation of Oscar Wilde. Therefore the green carnations and Oscar Wilde puppet at their wedding. Maybe he has his own version of "De Profundis" in the drawer already for when it all goes horribly wrong eventually (and it will).  ???

Then again, old rich straight men marry young gold digging bimbos all the time, so I see no reason why old rich gay men would be any smarter below the belt.  ;)

that's what it reminded me, but mister Fry is also a funny actor.

ok, this is now an Angie Bowness-Sinclair thread...

speccy fans don't care about how it looks... she must be one.

Bryce

At least there's no colour clash :)

Bryce.

@Morn: As far as I know, Fry was always a huge fan of Wilde, well before he did the film.

Yes, but maybe that's his depressive, self-destructive side speaking. Things did not turn out too well for Wilde and Bosie, so while one can certainly admire Wilde's work, wanting to be exactly like him sounds like a pretty bad idea in general. Get a better role model pronto, Stephen!

Heh, that photo reminded me of their friends & familiy photos that Greek Gastarbeiter brought back from Germany in the 80s...

And hey, maybe the lady's look (and the dude's...) are laughable by today's standards, but that was the way normal people looked back then.

For some reason, women looked much more "water and soap" back then. Simpler, more innocent times? I dunno. For those of you from Greece, check out
this music video. Yup, the girls looked more plain, perhaps too innocent compared to today...but does that mean you wouldn't bang them?
;)
