Windows 10 update failed. Who can help?

Few weeks ago, I powered on my CPC 464, and got this message:



Sure, I thought, thats a joke, so I accepted.

One day later, I retrieved a parcel delivered by UPS containing the following:



So, I decided to install...

Fuuu....!!!
This happened again and again:



I tired it several times, but I always got stuck with this bluescreen.

Then I tried to rollback, but even this went wrong!!!



So, what can I do now?

Who can help me?

That happens if someone need windows on a computer!

Yeah but it was "Z80_SECURITY_ERROR"

Isn't there an x-mass installable version? It would have saved 2032 cassettes.

Perhaps you could install linux or mac osx?

Be sure to send Microsoft the dump in printed format! And ask them for a refund because postage of that much paper probably will exceed 10kgs.

It seems to be a RAM problem, since Windows 10 needs at least 256KB to run properly. Clearly, the notification app did not work well this time. I have W10 running in my Plus with no issues at all. In addition, I would recommend you to upgrade the computer with a disc drive (if you do not have one) and install from a floppy, it would take much less time  . Look for an AMX mouse as well, it is quite important!

I was going to say the same thing : definitively a lack of memory.

Grab a XMEM extension and it should run without problems.

Ah, that's bad. Your Gate Array is broken and has a decimal right shift error. Else you would have Win 10.1 instead of 1.01

You should try a Live-CD of Future-OS 2016 to test this ...

Remove the disc from your drive. It's Mirrorsoft Tetris (or a bad hack of it)

Since I never used Windoof 10, I could save so much money (and from selling FutureOS to the Military Components Company) that I treated myself right today with this small nice car...
