Sales home computers in years 1983-90. :)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89VdjBWqu2o
I think that the sales of both Atari are heavily underestimated there. They forgot to count the XE models sold in Europe after 1986, as did the ST which still had sales in Europe when the US was no longer interested in them. But it still an interesting film. :)
c64 is overestimated here (I think that this is accepted as the normal number nowadays: https://www.pagetable.com/?p=547 ).
Did the CPC really sell almost as many as Amiga did? I doubt it, and the ST also seems to be lagging, as oy say, along with the Amiga which enjoyed very healthy sales into the nineties IIRC.
[edit] The ST definitely sold quite a bit more than the number quoted here. Interesting thread here (https://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?t=27819#:~:text=According%20to%20this%20page%20http,2.2%20million%20Atari%20ST%20computers.) . Can't be arsed to research it more right now but I did so when that thread first appeared and the arguments seem to be valid
Flame on! :D
Also, this could develop into a great thread :D
Hope you enjoy!!!
