Interesting solution. I did look at solutions for lightguns / lightpens on LCDs a long time back, but I find most solutions (this one included) are just too convoluted / complex and involve too many patches at different points in the system.

Yeah... I was right with it up to the Wii-mote!

Raspberry pi, arduino, custom circuit, OK... But a Wii-mote strapped to the gun as well.

I have 2 lcd guns for the pc.
You can play multiplayer games on pc and all emulator games too as they work as a mouse.
The problem with all that is latency.
They are all ok for some minutes but the real thing is a crt.
