Sturdy machine that one! I do not know of any Amstrad but in Spain the MSX2 are still used when you need to renew your driving license. There is an officially approved program to test your skills called "Driver-Test" that still runs not emulated in many places, believe it or not  :) The new version of the machine still works with the same soft, but I think that it is an emu (I think!).

Funnily enough, there is a company that repairs the old systems and they make some good money with the business because they are the only ones authorized to work on them. You have more info (in Spanish) here:

It's obviously some sort of car repair/tuning setup. The CPC probably just had some sort of Database running on it.
