Not even real Atari cos that doesn't exist anymore. Just some other company using it's name. Dickish of them to go after a forum for fans of vintage and proper Atari products.

Yeah, and jackintosh-forum.com , but it's not the same, and it's a shame.
.
Didn't amsdrad drop the CPC name because of a copyright problem ?
I just assumed they stopped using CPC to avoid confusion with the PC.
No, confusion would have been welcome. There are numerous examples about that.

Does that mean Paramount Pictures could potentially sue Atari for lifting that name from the Movie Hatari? Probably since then Joypads make use of "Red Buttons", these Atari's are starting to look dodgy especially since the original VCS looks a bit like a Saddle just missing the back elevated piece.
Good news from Atari :) : http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=26137 (http://www.atari-forum.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=26137)

Awesome news indeed!
Glad to see there's some common sense still floating around.
Aw that's cool. That Kristen sounds like a nice person.
Well, yes. But let's keep in mind that they're still employing a company that fires off hostile, threatening letters without any review.
