Hi,

Well, I got an AMX mouse for the Joyce, but it contains that huge rubber ball. Now that's the problem, that rubber melted and can't be used any longer.

Does somebody know where I can get such a rubber ball (or something ball-like in the same size)???

Any help would be appreciated.

Buy any cheap old PS/2 or RS232 PC mouse on ebay for 99c and take the ball out of that.

The PCW AMX Mouse was the same device as used on the CPC as far as I know, but it needed an interface (with mosue port socket) plugged into the back of the PCW to work.

Edit: Here's a picture of it: http://www.fvempel.nl/amstradcg/metia/amx.jpg

No, the AMX ball is as told huge, two times bigger in diameter at least. If it would be so easy I would not bother people by aking here  ;)

Well, I just would like to fix that poor mouse. It has never been used, all original boxed, and as I wanted to use it, well, all the rubber is melted. So I cleaned it and hope that I can get the right ball one day.

But never mind.

Well, then AMX obviously made at least two different mouses for the Joyce. This mouse is very different to a CPC mouse. Much bigger. I have no picture.
