So how come they got the handsome white egg with red gloves while we got stuck with the green one? Haha

Someone at CodeMasters must have liked that green egg. :)

Strictly speaking the Dizzy games were ported from the Amstrad to other machines. Although they were obviously designed with the limitations of the Speccy in mind.

Actually all the ones done by Big Red Software were developed on a IBM PC instead of being ported directly from the CPC.

So the question remains: what was the egg's original color in the beginning? [emoji23] [emoji24] [emoji3]

Yes, I've a Sony HB-75P Hit Bit. The only way to avoid ported games is to just stick to cartridge games.

Not quite true. The MSX suffers from 3 types of ports:

1 - Games ported straight from the Spectrum in a few days that run about a third slower. Eg Continental Circus.

2 - Games ported from the Speccy but that run properly and may have either CPC or 128k Speccy sound - Feud and Head Over Heels

3 - Games that look like Speccy ports but that actually use hardware sprites and other enhancements. Eg Knight Tyme

I'm not hung up on types 2 and 3. In fact the MSX version of Feud is very interesting as it has the Speccy graphics with the CPC music (there was no Spectrum 128k version) so it gives us a glimpse of what a Speccy 128k version might have been.

Oh and there's also games people assume are Speccy ports and actually aren't. MSX Outrun is an original bit of code that manages to be total rubbish all by itself! People always assume its a Speccy port. It isn't!
