Yes, computers were very expensive in the 80's. Plus the people still lived under Military Dictatorship back then and inflation was insanely high. Favela people, as you put it, would NEVER EVER had the chance of owning a computer. No way!

Thank God Brazil is a way way better country nowadays!  ;D

Someone else has already shortend it so what I said there makes no sense any more as it is now a short link  :laugh: , but thanks for the tip.
