I've been really ill.
I'll spare you the lovely details but when I'm feeling better I'll do that mock up

QuoteSo to kick off a rather impressive news announcement from Philippe Lang, from the failed Kickstarter 'New A1200 Computer Housing Project'. It is back on Kickstarter with a new name 'New AMIGA 1200 Cases' and let me tell you, unlike before this has every chance of being a success.

As they fixed the problems with the first one (stupid holes and no Amiga logo) this time I've pledged.

What was the point of an Amiga without an Amiga logo and holes for peripherals nobody uses (isn't everyone on a CF hard drive by now?)

TFM

Quite funny to see that pop art design - meanwhile the same people who buy that case do still make bad comments about the CPC having some colored keys in some cases.

Looks so gay it could be an Apple product...

jokes appart... should definitaly bring back the badass awesomness of the CPC664 colour scheme indeed.

so cool it hurts...

was badly copied by some Frenchs...

Macdeath and TFM don't seem to understand that the picture is just a montage showing an assortiment of the color choice and is not representative of one case...

I've mentioned this to the Kickstarter creator, it seems he's not the only one who's come across people that think it will look like a Rainbow  ::)

Thankfully a new image is coming soon  :P

A Kickstarter Success!! ( As you already know ;) ) and we proud to be the main supporter!

QuoteFantastic news today as Philippe Lang's ' New AMIGA 1200 Cases ' is a Kickstarter success! That's right Amiga fans, raising €128,873 pledged of a €125,000 goal and still 3 days to go, many of us will finally be able to get our hands on a super resistive, Anti-UV plastic moulded Amiga case in our choice of colours, with special compatibility such as A1200 Reloaded / Raspberry Pi / MiST, HxC and more!

Good news! Glad to have backed it. Hope we get new keycaps as well.

I have my fingers crossed that they are finished to a high quality as one C64 fan told me he wasn't that happy with the modern C64 cases he purchased.

If we can get the keycaps and I can get my A1200 recapped, 2016 is going to look pretty sweet for my A1200.

Now how about some new case badges and disc drive metal badges for the CPC eh?

I think CPC 464 (the very old version) had the most beautiful case and color/design amongst all the micros of its era. C64 breadbin was also great. AMIGA case can't even compete with these guys in terms of design and esthetics.

What colour did you go for?

Amiga coloured.  :D

Seriously, can't understand anyone who'd want a C64 or Amiga in anything other than the original colour.

Especially the C64. The breadbin version is so awesome I don't get it. It'd be a crime to try to pimp it  :o

But it will look like a Plus 4!

See now I've got that in your head, every time you look at your new black Amiga you'll think "Plus 4"  :D
