My first computer was a Sharp MZ700. I used to play Star Avenger on it for hours, but some time during the last 30 years I have lost that tape. So if anyone has a copy - or even a tape image - please let me know :)

I do not know anything about the Sharp version, but have you tried it on the CPC? I loved that version. If you try it, how do it compare?

I have tried the CPC version, and while it's very similar to the MZ-version it's not the same :) The MZ is a very limited machine compared to the CPC, and Star Avenger was the most technically advanced game I had for it. So I would love to get hold of a copy again.

Back in early 1985 we got our first CPC, the 464. I remember looking at the MZ-700 with built in printer and liking it. It was close, but we went for the Amstrad CPC.
