I have a spare HxC I was thinking of using for my Texas Instruments TI-99/4a, if possible.

Does anyone know what is required for this?
Obviously I will need a cable that fits the TI-99/4a and the floppy.
Will I also need some kind of floppy disc controller, like the CPC464?

Do you know where I can get the cable I need?

Take a look at IndieGameMusic.com - that's where I put my tracks.

Yes, I have 2 of these beauties and you'll need a PEB. I've been talking to BluesBrothers and TheCorfiot about getting a modern day version of one of these over the last few months if you want to drop him a PM. I know they're both busy with the Wolverhampton meeting at the moment so it might be towards the latter half of next month before anything is done.

Hm, but if it requires a PEB, why connect a HxC then?
Doesn't the PEB already make it possible to load from a compact flash card?

I was thinking of the original Peripheral Expansion Box (PEB) with a disk controller card which I was originally looking at.
Now you mention the NanoPEB, I think that's the one we were looking into as it has the extra RAM and serial connector

Hmm... so the NanoPEB doesn't need a PEB?

The names kinda give it away... as in the NanoPEB being a PEB... a small PEB....

In that case I think I'd prefer getting my hands on a NanoPEB.

Do you know where I can buy one?

Yeah, would have been nice if it had a real disk controller as I've also got an external HxC. I've emailed TC and BluesBrothers and see where they are with it.

TC hasn't been able to follow up but there's an email address on the website so I've sent an email asking where we can buy them and how much they are with postage. I'll let you know when I get a reply :)

They are made in small batches and sell out very quickly, keep an eye on this seller. TI 99 4A CompactFlash Drive Parallel Port CF7 w 4GB SanDisk | eBay

If I don't hear in a few days I'll try him via ebay  :)
