A III doesn't necesserily mean that there were two versions before. Also the 464 haven't had 463 versions before

Back in the 80's a friend Idiot C64 owner I knew, thought he was really funny by saying the 464 was the Customer No. ie: they'd only sold that many...

No... It wasn't funny back then either.

It's a TCS GenieIIIs... but the 8 MHz version, most had 7.2 MHz. Mine worked as a high-end medical work-station to get pictures of the brain using ultrasonic and so on. You will not find much in the net. But here just one link:

The obvious C64 comeback is that C64 is the length of tape you need to store a game on because the tape loading is so slow.

The obvious Spectrum comeback is that the 48 in Spectrum 48 is how many keys you need to try before you find the LOAD key.

Bryce

I think my comebacks were also tape loading related, ie: telling him to start loading Thursday, so that we could play the game on Saturday. With the Spectrum the 48 was how many times you had to try before it actually loaded. The +2 / +3 was the age or IQ or the average user.

Bryce.

That GenieIII looks really cool.

Our computer-related school insults didn't get much past the "Crummodore/Spamstrad" name calling.   :D

I can't understand very much on the first link -does it say that it was also a computer marketed by Eaca and similar to any of the previous Genies??

I don't have any dupes to swap right now, but it you plan to exchange or sell any of your Genie III, please let me know! :-)
Btw, the list of the computers and consoles I own is here :-D

TFM

Well EACA was first, after them TCS was formed. I only have one GenieIIIs (not III). And sorry I don't give it away. But your collection is really like a museum :-)
