[archeology] Ere compiler

As I start from scratch learning ASM, I read several french magazine and I found a lot of advert about a compiler from Ere informatique, and I can't find anywhere a file nor any website dealing about it. Was it so bad?

I thought DAMS was the most popular in France?

But if you are learning, I would go with Maxam - mainly because it's syntax is compatible with WinAPE which makes development much easier.

I honestly don't know if Ere compiler was more popular than DASM, I just read advert on french magazine from 1985 and don't find any tracks of it anywhere on internet, so I'm wondering why a program from Ere informatique, a very famous company, is completly invisible...

and more strange,  I can't find any tracks of the Author S Kolecki on the net too....

[that's why I put archeology] there's probably nothing worthy in it, but it just catch my attention...

Hi,

To me, Ere Informatique has never sold an assembler tool like Maxam or Dams. They have spreaded a Basic compiler called "Compilateur intégral". So, that's not very useful if you want to code in Z80 language :-).

yes I know it's basic>ASM compiler, I just asking myself "why can't find anything about it, no .dsk, no doc, no tracks of the author?".


  it's the "chase HQ 2" graal of lost for ever basic compiler?
