I just started a trial month on DeepL and ran the Spanish manual through the English, German and French translator.
No idea about the French one, but the English version is very serviceable.
German has a few glitches, but used together with the English one in case of ambiguities, it's perfectly OK.

I've written to Javier to see if he wants to host them (and if not, if he minds me sharing them).

While the DeepL trial is still going: Any other languages that are interesting for users?
I did a Greek version since there is a Greek CPC scene, and an Italian one, although I don't think I've ever seen an Italian CPC game.
Anything else I'm missing?

of course! send me the link to download your english version of the manual and i will upload to 8BP github. For sure a lot of people will love it!

Hello good

I have created an IDE to use with 8BP

For this he used AutoPlay Media Studio

The buttons are to open different programs (Graphic Editor, Tiled, Text Editor...) and also, by clicking on Menu 8BP, open the manual.

It's very simple, but it does the job

Maybe more programs can be added to the menu, but right now I can't think of anything else.

Well I don't know if it would work
To make the IDE, I had to put the access paths to my programs (actually to the .bat files that link to the programs, since it didn't let me do it directly to them)

So it probably wouldn't work on another PC.

Users of the 8BP library for Amstrad CPC can now download version 43 from the official GitHub repository: 8BP on GitHub

This new release comes with several improvements, new features, and an additional assembly option that, in "zero" mode, frees up a bit more memory for developers.

Notable new features include:

Support for double horizontal clipping, ideal for implementing Ghosts 'n Goblins-style scrolling games.
New delete flag, enabled with PRINTSP,33,1 and disabled with PRINTSP,33,0. With this option, both PRINTSP and PRINTSPALL can delete sprites, even in cases of overwriting.
New assembly mode (ASSEMBLING_OPTION = 4), which eliminates layout and scrolling, allowing 25,300 bytes for code and 500 extra bytes for sprites.
More memory in the zero assembly, increasing from 23,500 to 23,600 bytes.
Fixed a bug in ANIMASP.
Two new demos: one for double clipping and one for the erase flag.
