ChuckieEgg

Has anyone got a disassembly of Chuckie Egg, preferably commented so I can see how it works? I am trying to understand machine code but not finding it easy.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome!

I have source code on my website that is shorter than chuckie egg and may help you to learn:

Devilmarkus: Thanks for reminding me, it wouldnt send activation emails at the time. I just tried it again now and got one.

arnoldemu: I have been playing with your examples already, they are helpful, thanks, but I wanted a full game to learn from, how all the stuff fits together, maps, sprites, collision routines, movement, sound, etc and Chuckie Egg is about as simple as it gets.

Well, not Chuckie Egg, but here's the disassembled source for the game Karl's Treasure Hunt:

Taken from cpcrulez.fr.

Thanks for the source code. Still would like Chuckie Egg, but this is looking very useful!
