Amstrad Action type-in from issue 68 (May 1991)

This type of small BASIC program would have been invaluable when your first colour printer arrived plus it would
save a few wee pounds by not having to purchase one of the commercial colour dump programs then available.
The program loads in the selected screen, allows the user to set inks and then prints the 17K file.

The program is Listed at the end of the video.

Not emulated - original hardware and software.

Please note that  the aspect ratio for this YouTube video is 16:9 but the CPC monitor
has an aspect ratio of 4:3 so you may wish to adjust your viewing device accordingly.

This probably works with the relatively rare dot matrix printers with colour printer ribbons but not with ink jets. I remember that I had the Citizen Swift 24 with colour option, which allowed me to print in 7 colours. But I had no software that could use it and the only way was to output the control codes directly.

Thats right - dot matrix only and the quality was not perfect.
