Hi everyone, we need some help on the Converted GX4000 .cpr - The topic (repository link in first post)

Here it is. We recently converted Black Tiger for the GX4000 with @Urusergi . All was ok since we worked on DSK format. But after patching the game, we converted it using Nocart in CPR (trying different versions), and the game crashes after the title screen (well, loading the real program, not just a Basic launcher). After that, we shown that the image disk isn't in standard DSK format. So we copy all the file in a standard one, and of course the game crashes on this disk. So we think it's a file system problem.

We are calling on the community that best understands the mysteries of the CPC in the hope of finding a solution. Does anyone know what to do? Please, save us 8)

Attached is the game patched in its non standard DSK format

Hi iXien,
The crack you are using doesn't use just files because it reads the data from sectors on the disk and the sectors are not data format.

Could you adapt the crack from Black Mission which just uses files?

Many thanks for this information.

I suppose that it isn't possible to modify our current DSK so the game would be 100% standard files? We'll see if the BMC version can be patched. Hope this crack isn't too much compressed 8)
