Folks,
I had a 464+ almost 30 years ago, at that time I enjoyed doing a fair bit of programming on BASIC, nothing fancy but ok for a 13 year old.
I can barely remember much of it now so what's the best way to go about learning again? I don't have the manual anymore, surprisingly.
Also, at that time it was a 'boyhood dream' to learn assembly. Sadly I couldn't afford the Maxam assembler rom, and anyway - it would have required getting my hands on the 'Wave Widget' (anybody remember that featured in CPC Attack, I think?)
So, in a nutshell, where to begin again? Any pointers in the right direction for an old dog?
Back in the day my parents bought me AMSOFT Teach Yourself Amstrad BASIC, and it set me onto a career as a coder.
You'll find the books available as PDFs here.

You'll need part 1 and 2.
PDFs and DSKs are available.
[EDIT] The PDFs here on cpcwiki may be better.

When you're eventually ready to tackle assembly, the excellent series from Computing with the Amstrad got me off to a strong start.
I've made the articles available here:

Excellent. Thanks for that Erwin. This'll keep me busy.
