dsk files question
« on: 19:33, 27 December 19 »
Hi,

I'm wondering how .dsk files/images are converted back to the original CPC filetypes - IE BASIC and binary files.
Is there a standard PC software utility for this?

Cheers,

Peter

You can use the DSK Editor in CPCDiskXP to Extract files on a DSK file onto your hd

WinAPE also has a disk editor built in that allows you to drag and drop files in and out of a disk image. Just need to make sure you include the AMSDOS header otherwise the files won’t work in most instances.

  • It's not broken, it just hasn't been fixed yet.
