Hi,
I'm wondering how .dsk files/images are converted back to the original CPC filetypes - IE BASIC and binary files.
Is there a standard PC software utility for this?
Cheers,
Peter
You can use the DSK Editor in CPCDiskXP to Extract files on a DSK file onto your hd
-> http://www.cpcmania.com/cpcdiskxp/cpcdiskxp.htm
WinAPE also has a disk editor built in that allows you to drag and drop files in and out of a disk image. Just need to make sure you include the AMSDOS header otherwise the files won't work in most instances.
I use ManageDSK: http://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/ManageDsk
Bryce.
If you are not afraid by cli you can use this :
https://github.com/jeromelesaux/dsk/releases (https://github.com/jeromelesaux/dsk/releases)
... and I just realised you can do that in Retro Virtual Machine as well (MacOS Version here) ;D
