I don't know if this question is in the correct place. Moderators, please, If this isn't the correct place, move it wherever this topic must be.
Now, my problem.
I have installed Arkos Tracker in my hdd since 2012 or 2013 (I don't remember exactly now) and running OK with Windows 7 Professional x64.
Some months ago, I changed my notebook. A new Windows 7 Pro x64 installation was made. Installed drivers, software... All running perfect, but... Today I tryed Arkos Tracker in my "new" computer and it refuses to open. A window appears with a message like this:
"Arkostracker.exe stopped to work. Windows is trying to find a solution for your problem".
.NET Framework 3.5.1 and 4.5 are installed. Tools are working OK (when I disable .NET 3.5.1 Tools doesn't work). WyzTracker (programmed with .NET too) is working.
Arkos Tracker just refuses to work in my new computer. I'm missing something?
Windows XP Compatibility mode doesn't work. Running Arkos Tracker from command line (searching for some kind of error code inside the windows console) doesn't helps. No errors there. Installed OpenAL, MONO instead of .NET Framework 3.5.1., deleted INI file, downloaded and "installed" again... The same results.
Arkos Tracker was running in my old notebook with the same operating system I'm using now, so, what can be the problem? Some kind of hardware or audio driver compatibility issue?
Any missing library?
I don't want to install a Virtual Machine with XP installed to only run Arkos Tracker on it.
Some ideas, please?

Try to put your system fonts at 100%, if you are using a bigger zoom Arkos refuses to start. But after the first successful start, you can change back to whatever font size you want.

Sorry for this. I use W7 64 bits and have no problem. Sadly, many people have problems with .Net, whatever their configuration is (old or new computers), and I'm afraid I can't do much... But... A solution may come sooner or later :).
The font size problem happens quite often, I've encountered it a few times (using the tracker on different computers) and other people I know had this same problem too (and the solution is always the same).
I will try to change zoom options as McKlain suggested me. My notebook has 1920x1200 resolution (higher than standard FullHD) and I need zoom in my desktop to see something.
As I commented, I don't think the problem was .NET Framework. NET 3.5.1 runtime is included inside Windows 7 (you only need to activate it) and all other Net framework apps (as Arkos Tools or WyzTracker) are running perfectly and there isn't any debug information when ArkosTracker.exe refuses to start.
When I disable NET Framework, all NET applications (including Arkos Tools) display some debug information in the console window about missing NET framework.
It seems a problem with "default" font in title screen of ArkosTracker app.
This afternoon I will try McKlain solution to confirm this.

Reduce resolution to 1200 * 800 or so, anything much bigger is insane anyway. So you should be cool having fonts at 100% :)

You can't reduce resolution on an LCD!! It will be blurred.

1920x1200 can be resized to 640x400, 960x600 and 1280x800 w/o any blur effect.

960x600 and 640x400 will work, but the 1280x800 would give blur:
1920 / 1280 = 1.5 so every third pixel is stretched across two pixels.

Sure, I don't know why I have added 1280. :-\
(may be because my xbox360 display a nice 1280 on a 1920 LCD screen)
It's better to use the zoom feature.

Right, I use 1280*800 on mine, and it looks great! :)

No it's 1920*1200.
Then it's sharing pixels and isn't sharp. If you don't think it's blurred, you may need to visit your optician :D
(Or are you leaving it unscaled with a fat black border?? :o )

SF2 can alter ROM7, but only on a pre-ASIC CPC or Plus.
Technically a 1920 monitor can't be sharp at 1280. That's not my opinion, that's basic maths. You can't stretch a 1280 image pixel for pixel across 1920 pixels, so some pixels are either doubled or averaged across more than one pixel = Blurred.

Now imagine I got a regular CPC 6128 with CRTC 1 (1987) and it works to alter ROM 7. And then imagine I got a 1986 CPC 6128 CRTC 0 and it works there too.
About the screen, it is no problem.

Me too. But meanwhile he probably is listening to that crap here instead to Arkos tracker. :-\
