Title: Problems with DSK files to Parados Formatted 3.5" Disk in CPCdiskXP
Post by: simondo on 11:47, 26 August 15
I'm trying to get more than 1 game onto a 3.5" disk using CPCdisk XP and using Parados 80 option. Disk has been formatted to 80 track.

In Disk Editor, after selecting Parados 80 under 'New' button and then 'Open' to select DSK file, all the bin and bas files are listed but Disk Total Size reverts back to 180K, CPC DATA, size 178K.

I don't understand as CPCdiskXP is supposed to support larger formats.

Hi,

In Editor, if you "open" an existing Dsk, you loose the actual Dsk  :(

You must create with 'New' button and select Parados 80 and then, to add files into it, you must use button "Add Files" or "Add Files From Another Dsk", when you finish to add files use "Write Floppy" button to write it.

Cheers,

Mochilote.

I see what you are saying but using that method it just copies the .dsk file, which is an image, on to floppy. How do I get .bin and .bas files required to run on CPC onto a Parados 80 formatted disk?

**Edit**
Sorted. I used 'Add files from another disk' then selected the all the files.

Many thanks Mochilote
