The cheapest way to do that is to buy a couple of these and solder them up yourself.

If you do not find any solution. I can build one of mine for you. Be aware: My design is without ASIC but with the RC-Hack.

Hi @Shining (https://www.cpcwiki.eu/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=922) ,

"My design is without ASIC but with the RC-Hack"

Forgive my ignorance but what does that mean?

The ACID (https://www.cpcwiki.eu/index.php/Amstrad_Cartridge_Identification_Device) is that copy protection chip on every original cart which can nowadays be emulated by a CPLD (for example on the C4CPC). The ACID communicates with the ASIC in the plus and the ASIC will prevent correct write-access to the EPROM in the cart, when the ACID is not present.

Nilquader and Octoate found a timing-bug in the ASIC some years ago, where you can replace the ACID through some simple logic. Their solution only had one very little problem: a reset without powering off and on could prevent the plus to reboot. After analyzing this a little bit, I made a pcb without this problem for personal use. I do not know, if it runs always with this but it does in more than 10 machines....

Will it work normally on a CPC plus? I mean will I have the functions needed for normal operation and locomotive BASIC?Thanks!

Hello banana,

today, I've soldered a cart for a friend. So I thought: soldering two is nearly the work soldering one.

So I made one UK system cartridge for you, too.

If you sent me your address via PM, I'll ship the cart to you.
