After a legal dispute with [[Digital Research]], Vortex switched to only provide patches for CP/M 2.2 (XPATCH.COM) and CP/M 3.0 (XPATCH30.COM) to enable using their [[Vortex Expansion RAM card|memory expansions]] and [[Vortex Disc Drives|floppy disc drives]].
