This is a very rare working model - used, in excellent condition.

An Amstrad 386 PC combined with a sega mega drive. Powers up and works fine. This is an ultra rare pc/console, one of the first proper PC's available on the market in the early 1990's. I brought this from new and therefore it's only had one owner.

For the Sega Megadrive, slide the front hatch to transfer from the PC to the Sega Megadrive. When moving the shutter across the Amstrad PC part turns off and the Megadrive part powers up (and vice versa). Comes with the Sonic the Hedgehog cartridge and 2 other games cartridges (Davis Cup World Tour and Mega Games I that includes Super Hang-on, Italia '90 and Columns).

On the PC side, it seems to have lost it's software on the hard disk, but I have all the original 3.5” set up disks and manuals. I can navigate to the Setup and Bios and I'm sure with a bit of effort you can get it working (great for PC enthusiasts). Comes with 60 plus new and used 3.5" disks of various software/games/blanks.

* Comes with original monitor and 386 unit with built-in Sega Megadrive
* Power cable
* Monitor cable
* Original Amstrad Megadrive Mega PC control pad
* Original Amstrad analogue joystick AJ-5
* IBM compatiable mouse + spare IBM compatible mouse
* Original Amstrad keyboard (with plastic cover) in excellent condition
* 3 Sega Megadrive game cartridges
* 60+ 3.5” disks
* Original Amstrad setup disks
* All original manuals Plus MS DOS 5.0 and MS DOS 6.0 manuals.

I've added a spare matching keyboard from my accessories collection to go with it, as well giving it a thorough good clean and finishing it off with 'Pledge' Multi-Surface Polish Clean & Dust spray - looking like new!.

I always wanted one of these GEM hard drives for my Amstrad PCW 8256 but it was very hard to find and get hold of one, it was extremely very expensive back in the days and people can only afford 20MB HDD version. Fortunately, I was very lucky and got the full 40MB version at long last, costing new well over £500 (excluding the PCW monitor) including many 100's of pounds worth of software programs on this hard drive!!

My cousin, Gifty was planning to get rid of it, as its very slow for her and the family to use, but I was planning to buy it off from her, since I like very old computers and was planning to buy one for the living room for my parents to use or me using it while I spend time with my parents in the living room, instead she just give it to me as a present since we're family, including a huge 17" colour monitor. This computer has only 300MHz CPU, 64MB RAM, 40GB Hard drive containing Windows 2000 Professional without any soundcard drivers which I give the 40GB hard drive her to keep.

But I remove and replaced with a new X-Power ATX-400TD (400W) power supply, 512MB memory, 550MHz CPU, Maxtor 200GB hard drive containing a multi-boot Operating System facility, with Soundcard drivers and DVD / CD-RW Combo drive. I love this mini tower as it has 4 x 3.5" bays (for 2 hard drives & 2 floppy drives) & 3 x 5.25" bays and 3 x PCI slots.

Packard Bell EXECUTIVE MM 9019 XE base unit - Thurs 15th April 2004 (39)
Image: Spares.jpg

I have bought this Base Unit from Computer Corner for £28 including p&p. It has the same features as Packard Bell 9021 XE except the memory, hard drive capacity, Windows 95A instead of Windows 95B (OS 2.1), CD-ROM drive and processor speed. But that's no problem for me, as I can easily upgrade them one by one all by myself.

On the bright side... I'm very happy!!! about this Mini Tower base unit, as it has PB683 motherboard with voltage regulator next to the CPU socket, Packard Bell Rocky PnP 28.8 / 33.6 Sound Card and S3 ViRGE Graphics Controller (I love this one and its the best one) exactly the same as 9021 XE. I reckon these Packard Bell computers is the best PC ever, even though this computer is very old, I still reckon this is the best PC ever! No doubt!!! Plus, its my very favourite PC out of the two PCs.

I have bought this packard bell executive multi-media A950 RARE windows 95 vintage works great dos from eBay for £130 + £12 p&p. After making a deal with Lets go Retro Limited (nicolar1826) as I couldn't resist Packard Bell base unit so much and I love these Packard Bell models so much!! The Sega Master System was release in the mid-1980's, about the same time as Nintendo's system. It closely followed the released of the NES and had its own gimmicks to attract audiences, like 3-D glasses and a sports trackball to support its large library of sports games.

The Sega Master System was an 8-bit cartridge-based gaming platform and preceded the Sega Genesis. Although superior technically to the Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega lost the marketing war and the Sega Master System was left with few titles.

Notes
My childhood mystery is finally solved: What is the name of the blue maze game on the screen with interesting music?

If it won't for that Snail Maze game, I won't be achieving my goals in life, that was very first thing which it helped me to motivated myself with keeping on learning and working much harder using it as teaching aid when I was 9 (1989) in my primary school while I was having very learning difficulties / late developer (autism) and during that time I didn't know what's the properly name of that game - all I remember is a blue maze on the screen and I keep on calling it as Maze game. And my childhood memories / flashbacks coming back to me since after my 1st Sega Master System got damaged, couldn't get it out of my mind. That's why Snail Maze with 2 old school controllers means a lot to me!!

Very identical to my first Sega Master System (Photo 2) with 2 old school versions control Pads (mini sticks), the original box, Hang-On Sega Card, manual, "Snail Maze" secret game built-in, except with extra (mini stick) control pad added as spare.

I have bought Mega CD with Sega Mega Drive with games for £33.88 + p&p = 45.88 from Ebay. Unfortunately, this Mega Drive malfunction as the picture comes up on the screen but no sound at all. So I decided to keep it as a "Display Model" to go with my computer museum in the future. Both are working perfectly with all leads and RF cable. There are also 5 Mega Drive games and 5 Mega CD games.

It's exactly same Sony PlayStation 2 SCPH-30003 R (version 5 - according to Identify your Ps2 Version page) as Sony PS2 (30)

I love this setup - fully loaded with accessories: 5 (out of 7) x PS2 8MB Memory Cards, PS2 128MB Memory Card, PS2 Multi tap, SOCOM USB Headset, PS2 Memory Station (Card Reader), DEXXA USB Mouse, 2 x USB 16MB Flash Drives, Logitech NetPlay Controller, Maxtor 300GB HDD (using HD Advanced software) physically connected via PS2 Network Adaptor - connected to Sky Broadband Unlimited 20MB - ready for online gaming!!

AMSOFT JY1 Joystick, Cheetah 125+ Joystick, Amstrad LP-1 & Amstrad MP-1
My dad bought me my very 1st home computer with Amstrad CTM 640 644 monitor (old design), a box of over £100 worth of Software (50 games) - £399.99

** Side 3 & 4: Amstrad BASIC - Self Assessment Tests (Plays the same both sides)

Comments
My personal Comments about my first home computer: Amstrad CPC 464<br>
<br>
Around 1986, my dad have spent £399.99 for it as he saw the Amstrad CPC 464 in "Amstrad Software & Peripheral Catalogue 1986", as he decide to buy it from Curry's which is nearer for him and he asked my second brother, Daniel to pushed the trolley from Curry's to my house. He has bought a first home computer for me and my two brothers (James & Daniel) for us to use it for entertainment. Originally, he bought it for me only as no-one in the family knows how to use a computer, as he knows that I like interesting bits e.g. books with pictures inside or playing around with electrical equipment. In those days, the Amstrad CPC 464's was one of the best computers when it first came out on the market. <br>
<br>
It was Amstrad CPC 464 with a colour monitor, Amsoft JY1 Joystick, Amstrad LP-1, Amstrad MP-1, Cheetah 125+ joystick, manual, welcome tape and a box containing over £100 worth of games including Tubaruba, 3D Grand Prix, Tank Command. I got very excited at first, jumping up and down for joy, full of excitement and I couldn't wait to set-up the computer and start playing every computer game that came with this computer. I always on the computer everyday non stop. Even since then, my learning abilities started to grow and grow, while I was hooked on playing on the computer, going to my near by library to brought and copying Amstrad CPC games as they have the same computer as me. We were the first ones to buy this computer in my area, after James's friends come and play on the computer with me, they started to copy my dad's idea and buy the same computer as us, except they couldn't afford to buy the colour version, which is too expensive for them to buy, instead they got the green screen version.<br>
<br>
Unfortunately, around 15th July 1990, one of my brother's friend, Richard accidentally spilled a ice lolly onto the keyboard and then the computer made some noises. So, its looks like the life of Amstrad CPC 464 is over (damaged) and my dad threw the Amstrad CPC 464 away, after he had tried to take the computer to the same shop where my dad bought the Amstrad from, but they no longer sell or repair these computers anymore. During that time, Moley, my neighbour give me a comic that comes with the newspaper "The Sunday Times" called "The Funday Times" - No. 45 as she always gives the comic to me after she buy her newspaper.<br>
<br>
I was very upset because that was one of my favourite home computer out of the other Amstrad CPCs range and I become attached to it, as I love this computer so much, one of the reasons I love this computer so much is, while the game is loading from cassette, I read the game instructions / manuals or make myself and my family a small snack with a cup of tea or talking, laughing, pulling funny faces with my two brothers while my parents sit down on the settle behind us, watching us having a good time. I got used to and I was loving it every minute of it, using it as a good thing, while some people moan because it takes a long time to load a game from cassette e.g. 3D Grand Prix. In a matter of fact, I was very clever when it comes to on paper, except there is only one big problem about me - that is simply I cannot speak or pronounce any words at all, so I use this computer with games / programmes that come with the computer as a learning exercise / teaching aid for myself and it worked.<br>
<br>
Worst of all, my oldest brother, James gave a whole collection of computer games, accessories that come with the computer to his friend, Michael for free behind my back. I keep wishing that he didn't it, as I can't stop thinking about the good times I have with the CPC 464. Even now, I still remember the good times, a collection of computer games, how it help my life. I guess it stays in me (memories).<br>
<br>
By the way, I let you a little secret about why I smile a lot or why I always happy, well, because each time, when I smile, it reminds me back when I was six years, people at primary school including the headmaster calling me dumb, stupid and so on just because I cannot speak or say a few words, I only do a sign language of my own, fortunately, when I started using computers including Amstrad CPC 464 (thanks to my dad) and I started saying a few words, all the same people were speechless, and felt ashamed. The funny thing is, everybody started coming to me and asking me to help them how to use computers. Even the neighbours knocked on my door, asking me to set up their electrical equipment.
