The VG 5000 is a computer created by Philips in 1984. Production ended in 1986. It was designed by [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radiotechnique La Radiotechnique] and manufactured in Le Mans (France).
It was manufactured in Le Mans (France) by Radiotechnique (RTS) and marketed under the Philips, Radiola and Schneider brands. The Philips had This was a black casing while strategy aimed at making the Radiola and Schneider had VG 5000 appear as a white casingstandard like the [[MSX]] in the eyes of the general public.
