The '''Star Trek Sample Demo (STSD)''' was one of the first demonstration programs of some capabilities of [[FutureOS]]. It was made to demonstrate:
* Loading speed from disc
* Expansion RAM management
To run properly, it needs:
* [[FutureOS]]
* 512 KB of expansion RAM
* [[Digiblaster]]
== Technic ==
The STSD loads a 416 KB sample file (22 seconds from disc, 5 seconds from HD20 hard-disc), then the sample is played at 14 MHz. The sample itself is 8 bit deep.
It's release date was around 1992.
