* The undefined 'x' appear to be bits are from the upper byte when doing a 16-bit pixel read but more testing needs . If the data in vram is &34,&12. A 16-bit pixel is &1234. A read in 2bpp/4bpp will use the bits from &12 from that operation. Therefore to be done to confirm thisforce these bits do a 16-bit read of a known value, then do the 2bpp/4bpp read.
