What's about using the layout of Wikipedia? Unfortunately currently I have no experience with MediaWiki tables. Regarding the content I think we shouldn't copy sidebar links on the main page. What's about sections like: - Welcome/Description - CPC scene news - CPCWiki related news - new articles (larger ones) - additional important links not listed in the sidebar
- Don't forget that some themes does not have a sidebar! I'm using a browser without css support (links2 in console mode under linux), so i prefer not having a sidebar... but there is some pages wich are difficult to find :)
