The Ultimate Interface for Amstrad CPC (a.k.a. ULIfAC), is a modern multi function board that you can plug to a real Amstrad CPC 464 or 6128.

It offers the 3 most important functionalities (especially for CPC 464):

• Browsing directories and loading from plain files, dsk images, snapshots from a USB stick or a PC via a serial cable or WIFI
• Ram Expansion
• Rom board

...in a SINGLE board, something unprecedented before ULIfAC appeared (and if i'm not mistaken still is...), and also in such low price.

The ULIfAC is based around PIC 18F47Q10 Microcontrollers, designed and built by ikonsgr from the CPCWIKI Forums. ULIfAC is an evolution of USiFAC II board, with which is 100% compatible.

The USIfAC II board offered Mass storage access at a very low price too.

ULIfAC board expands the functionality of the previous USIfAC II board, by offering many new features on the same board:

• 512Kb Ram Expansion

• 32X Rom Board

• 256Kb Ram Expansion + 16X ROM board on CPC 664/6128

• 192Kb Ram Expansion + 16X ROM board on CPC 464 (Supports CP/M Plus, Symbos, Future OS)

• Automatic Rom mounting upon cold boot!

• Convert instantly a CPC 464 to a CPC 6128 using a simple RSX Command

• Run games/programs from a usb stick or PC Hard Drive (through WiFi module or UART serial cable).Save is also supported, as well as full access to ASCII files.

• Full read/write access of DSK images of both AMSODS and PARADOS formats.

• Very fast loading speeds of up to ~30+kb/sec (more than 6-7 times faster ,than a usual speed of a gotek/floppy disk drive).

• Access up to Four DSK images and choose them "on the fly", to support all multi-image Games.

• Load SNA snapshot files.
