'''N8VEM''' is a Z80-based, 64 KB homebrew computer kitcomputer with 512 KB RAM and a 1 MB EEPROM. The idea is to have a simple, expandable Z80 system (based on through-hole components only for easier soldering) for e.g. teaching or performing simple tasks like home automation.
The system supports ECB peripherals and VDUs, joystick interfaces, and hard disk I/O extension cards are available among others. Usually [[CP/M|CP/M-80]] is used as the operating system, so all the usual CP/M software like ''Zork'', WordStar, Sargon Chess etc.is available.[http://obsolescence.wix.com/obsolescence#!n8vemimage/c1v04]
