Inicron logo

A interface to expand the CPC with up to 512 kB RAM. Since the box is not 100% compatible to DK-tronics or Dobbertin-Expansions, it is not supported by Symbos. But it's supported by FutureOS. The box was originally designed to work as a battery-buffered RAM-disc (as supported by Dobbertin RDOS).

Technical specs.

Works more or less like the Standard Memory Expansions. The main difference is that it can map expansion RAM only to 4000h..7FFFh. There are further complicated differences: Among others, there's a switch, that does allow to configure it mechanically. See the included documentation for details.
