Now, I'm using my Sony Notebook and Motorola Timeport P7389 Mobile Phone (my second mobile phone, used for both my business and personal contacts - exchanging SIM cards) to receive / send SMS, transfer telephone numbers from my phone to my Motorola Timeport phone and visa versa, as I have the Motorola SmartCELLect 2000 with data cable and software and both have infrared communication (Data & Fax) support, instead of using my landline to the house phone.
