WACCO was the company set up by Brian Watson and Peter Campbell to continue the marketing of Arnor's CPC programs, such as Protext, Maxam and Utopia, after Arnor ceased trading.

The name was both a direct reference to WACCI (which was involved in purchasing the rights to the Arnor titles) and an acronym for "Watson's Amstrad CPC Computer Company". However, confusion with WACCI led to the eventual renaming of the company as Protext Software.
