I was drawn into this game because of the big breasted Maria Whittaker - had a huge A1 sized poster of her on my wall... Barbarian is one of the coolest cpc games ever an 8bit legend in its own right & remains so 2day. Classic cpc game, so simple yet so brilliantly put together by Palace Software. 
It`s rare that you can get more fun than this. Simply great graphics, fantastic (and humorous!) fun, and the two-player mode is the most fun you can have on an 8-bitter...
Barbarian... Whay more can we say about this game that has not been said before. I spent many many hours of my youth playing this with my mates. It has great graphics and sound, and has some amazing animation and awesome gameplay. Brilliant!
Words cannot describe how much I love this game... even now I still roll around trying to perfect a head chop or a perfect victory. Barbarian is one of the greats.
