Blimey even with infinite lives this is well hard! Gorgeous graphics and great levels. Probably one of the best platformers on the Amstrad absolutely great.
if you love platform games you`ll love rick dangerous This is a cpc classic. When uve finished it go and play rick dangerous 2. 
Definately one of the best games on any console. Frantic action from screen #1 till Game Over or the end of the game (good luck seeing this). Really pretty graphics and great screens; despite the difficulty you`ll find yourself coming back for more!
I watched the new Indy film the other day, boy is that a load of pants... still it gave me the incentive to fire up Rick Dangerous and 5-6 hours later I was still playing. Amazing game that really put everything else to shame at the time.
