Spellbound Solution

Upon starting the game, drop the advert from your inventory (it?s useless anyway!) and head to your right. Pick up the white herring and continue along to the right to get the glowing bottle from the upper part of the L-shaped room. Pick up the teleport pad on your way past too. Head back to the start and collect the teleport key. Move left and pick up the Mirror in the Odd-Ball. This is a very useful object and will display your health and inventory on the screen at all times. Keep going left until you reach the library. At this point drop the white herring and call the lift. Enter the lift and head up to the roof. Drop the teleport pad in the lift and pick up the on the first screen outside the lift. Go right for seven screens and pick up the wand of command. Use the teleport function to return to the lift. It is generally a good idea to get the characters to all be happy and eat and drink each time you see them to avoid them becoming unhappy. You can only do this whilst carrying the wand of command so this is another object that you?re better only dropping when you have to. Head back to level 3 and give Florin the Dwarf the bottle of liquid (note: not the glowing bottle) and take it back from him, your energy level should be boosted back to maximum. Give the bottle back to Florin. Command Florin to wake up and teleport back to the lift. Go to the second floor and drop both bottles from your inventory in the lift to release the banshee (and make room for more stuff!). Head outside and get the elf horn from Samsun and the Miolnir from Elrand Halfelven. Teleport back to the lift and then blow the elf horn to summon Thor. It is imperative that you make Thor eat and drink as he is the most likely to die of starvation first. Give him the Miolnir and command him to help. Thor smashes the lift controls and you are now able to access the lower levels. Summon Florin and repeat the bottle trick. Command them both to sleep. Assuming Florin remains asleep, you can teleport to him at any point in the lift and regain your energy.

Go back to the third floor and pick up the white herring and head down to the basement. Pick up the power pong plant (dropping whatever you have to) and then Cast the spell ?Fumaticus Protectium.? Drop the fish and the plant and return to the lift ? you should now be immune to gas. Move the lift to the ground floor and stand on the strange liquid. Cast the spell ?Armouris Photonicus? ? your armour is now glowing and you no longer need a source of light. Pick up the shield and the pocket laser, stop off at the third floor to get the engraved candle and head up to the roof. Cast the spell ?Candelium Illuminatus? in the first room and give the pocket laser to Lady Rosmar.

Go to the fourth floor and summon Thor and get him to help. His thunderbolt weakens a wall on the second floor. Drop the shield. Go to the first floor and go all the way along picking up the trumpet and the glue. Give the glue to Florin and the trumpet to Elrand on the second floor. Summon Elrand to The Wall and command him to help. The wall comes tumbling down. Pick up the two bricks that are dropped by this. At this point it?s a good idea to go to the right and meet Orik the Cleric and get him to take something to eat (he?s easily forgotten about) Back to the lift and then up to the fourth floor. Drop the brickwork to make a step to jump over the wall from. Pick up the white and green crystals as well as the javelin and head back to the start of floor 4. Drop the crystals then head down to Samsun on level 2. Give him his javelin and then go down to the Secret Tunnel Entrance on the ground floor. Summon Rosmar and get her to help you. Head into the secret tunnel until you reach The Pit. Summon Samsun and ask him to help. He?ll throw his platform into the pit making it possible to cross. Be very careful as the jump is extremely perilous and ensure you have at least one space in your inventory and pick up the broken talisman. Teleport back to the lift and find Florin the Dwarf. Give him the talisman and get him to help. He?ll mend the talisman and you can then whip it back off him. Go to the second floor and pick up the blue crystal and white ring. Teleport back to the lift and drop them. Pick up the Crystal Ball and cast the spell ?Project Physical Body? ? you can now travel to any character you wish using the crystal ball.

You?ll probably be left with some game time to kill as you can?t cast the release spell until at least 36 hours to go. Teleport back to the lift and drop them Use this time wisely and go round everyone ensuring they are all happy, fed and rested.

When the time has elapsed find Orik the Cleric and give him the two of the coloured crystals, the crystal ball and book of shadows. head to the Most Magic Room (over the Pit) with the other crystal, white gold ring, magic talisman, wand of command and elf horn. Summon Orik The Clerik and take the other crystals from him. Cast the spell ?Crystallium Spectralis? and throw the three crystals at Gimbal. This will set the wizard free. Holding the white gold ring and magic talisman, cast the Release Spell. Head up to the second floor with the elf horn and go to the room that is furthest to the right with all the portraits. Summon each of the characters in the order in which their portrait appears from right to left until you?ve summoned Gimbal (the last portrait). When you?ve done this you?ve sent all the characters home and completed the game. Well done? it?s only taken you the best part of nineteen years ? I know that?s how long it took me!!! - submitted by Ritchardo
