Cheat Mode

Here is a tip for the GX4000 version of the game. When qualifying stay directly behind a car and you should find your speed increases into the 190Mph slot rather than your previous top speed of 180Mph. You should be able to jump from car to car as you travel. - submitted by Malc (CPC Zone Staff)

POKE 07DF FF - to increase time limit
Nich informed me that at 07DF on Burning Rubber Cart game the time limit can be changed.
And as Nich also pointed out the timer will count down as normal which is a bit of a bummer.
Nich couldnt seem to find another area that would stop the time and neither could I.
I Changed the values at the locations before 07DF and it stopped the timer briefly but then continued to be counted down as normal again....
Another weird thing occurred as you passed thru checkpoints - instead of getting an increase in time your time actually decreased when passing a checkpoint.
So this is a poke of sorts only problem is you have to pause your game when your time gets low and reset the value at 07DF. - submitted by cpc4eva

I noticed when I was a kid if you complete the qualifying, started the race but didn't cross the start line and let the time run down the map that shows the progress of your race goes round and round... forever. If memory serves after 5 or so laps it starts using different characters in place of the dots.

"A really cool cpc racer one of the best cpc carts.... The time limit is quite stiff but you`ll love racing through the tunnels and watching the sky change from dawn to day to dusk to night as you progress. Very colourful and quite challenging."

"Admitidly I was quick to dismiss this game, because it was chucked in free with my CPC 464+ but then one day, I fired it up. What a surprise, probably the best free game you'll ever get. The graphics are of high quality, the sound is good, the music isn't too annoying (but does have it's moments). However the time limit is a little tight. I highly recommend this game!"
