"I'd have preffered to run at goal and shoot, instead of switching to the 3D view... ruins a good game of footy for me."

"There's so many great things about this game... fabulous graphics and animations, smooth and swift action and scrolling, great all round presentation, etc ... it's on its way to lifting the cup for 'Best footie game on the CPC', BUT it falls and gets knocked out at the Semi Finals by some extremely poor computer AI and overall gameplay. It ends up being a kick and run type affair - just run your player to the end of the pitch whatever way you can, then when it comes to taking on the keeper do the same thing every time (tempt him to move one direction, then at the right time move the other way just before getting in line with the post then shoot and score). Forget about nice intricate passing and building a play. Damn. After playing a while and you realise this its very disappointing and you'll get bored fairly quickly, such as shame considering the effort gone into other areas of the game. However it does come back to life on later harder levels, AND most importantly REALLY comes to life on 2 Player matches!! AI and bad gameplay is ignored and it becomes a real battle between two humans ... and so after dropping huge marks, if you have a human opponent suddenly I'll have to raise the marks and declare it the best 2 player CPC footie game! (Sorry Italy 1990/Emlyn Hughes fans... but it is!)"
