You take on the role of servant boy Bobo in this mad-cap action game from Infogrames, the masters of your house want feeding and they are very hungry. You must grab the bowls of food as quickly as you can and serve it to your masters before they grow impatient and throw the steaming hot food over your head.

Graphics

Bobo is another of the little known games here in the UK, I for one was never aware of this title and didn?t see it reviewed in any magazines during my Amstrad years, a game we sorely missed? well yes it was. The graphics on show in this title stick firmly to the standard laid out by the developers (Infogrames) with super vibrant colours that most early machines hardly ever saw before, superbly detailed characters that wouldn?t look out of place on a more recent system like the Sega Master System and some winning animation on both Bobo and the range of masters. This is one game that will show you Spectrum lovers a thing or two about the power of the CPC.

Sound

Sound is again on great form, we have some amazingly upbeat music during the introduction/protection screen and even more great music throughout the game. Sadly the in-game sound effects aren?t present but considering we didn?t notice that until the second time we played it it?s hardly worth bothering about. Another good job by Infogrames.

Gameplay

Gameplay is simple, collect the bowls of food from the window at the top of the screen and get to your masters plate ASAP, failure to get there on time will result in hot food over your head and having to start the game all over again. It?s not a difficult game though some players might find it frustrating at first, but it?s still one entertaining game. This brought back memories of the Amiga classic "Viz" but without all the rude items and nasty words, not to mention the certificate.
All in all, whether you?ve heard of it or not this is one you cannot afford to miss.
