I have no real idea what this game is based on but the characters contained in the game and on the back of the inlay card look very familiar to those you see in the Beano and Dandy comics from the 1980?s - you?ll see what I mean when you load the game and start playing.

He?s wicked, he?s evil! can he ever be stopped!? Jack is a little boy who is unlike any other, he?s not just a troublesome child that many other parents have to deal with - this kid was born to terrorise those that live with and around him. Jack takes every moment to play tricks, cause havoc and make everyone?s life a misery - something that most of us wanted to do as children but always got a smack or telling off for doing so. Now you can take the opportunity to do just that and without the risk of getting caught by your parents.

A witty, strange but original game by Gremlin Graphics gets converted to the CPC - is it any good though?

Graphics

As soon as the game has loaded you realise the cartoon like nature of the game and that it shouldn?t be taken too seriously, it?s just a bit of fun.

The graphics are superb in this game and you will probably try to remember were you have seen characters like Jacks parents before, try the Beano or Dandy and you?ll see an amazing resemblance to some of the characters created in those comics. The colours are bright and cheerful, almost every colour available on the CPC has been used at some point during the game and there is always something new to look at in the different locations of the game - check out the Mini Micros store in the bottom right screenshot.

Sound

Sound is good but with the out of tune music over the top it can put you off playing and with such good in-game sounds it?s a shame that Gremlin felt the need to do this.

Gameplay

Gameplay is similar to other versions of the same game and if you have played it before this one won?t put you off playing because the graphics and sound are great. The controls are pretty simple and once you know what you are doing it?s very playable indeed, a little hint though - hit the return key to open doors and hit the streets otherwise you?ll find the game very boring indeed.
