Growing pains of Adrian Mole

Poor Adrian, well poor us really as Level 9 inflict another dose of boring text/diary mishaps on the unsuspecting CPC public. It seems life never does get better for Adrian and even in this the second installment he hasn?t managed to get his leg over (wink wink) with Pandora.
Maybe in this outing you can help him get his dream girl, then perhaps Level 9 will stop producing dire games like this.
Graphics
Prepare to be bored out of your mind again as we review the second Adrian Mole computer game on the Amstrad CPC.
As the first one the graphics in the sequel are of equally bad quality and amount of boredom, all the user is subjected to is masses of text (all boring) followed by the occasional illustration at the top half of the screen (see screen grabs). The illustrations help to liven the story up by about 5% but it does little or nothing to enhance the final product.
Sound
Sound is again very quiet with almost nothing coming out of your speakers, we played the game for as long as we could without nodding off to sleep and still didn?t hear the Amstrad make a single sound, considering the first outing suffered from the same thing you would have thought Level 9 would do something to enhance the game, they didn?t though.
Gameplay
Now gameplay, if you are prepared to read through masses of text about the life of a spotty fictitious teenager and how much he wants to play bedroom olympics with Pandora but doesn?t get anywere then you might enjoy this game. The rest of us "normal" people will certainly want to stay away from this title as the only word that explains it is crap.
A sequel that remains the same in every aspect, boring, dull and overall crap.
