Chuckie Egg

Who?d have though a country farmyard could be so stressful? You must collect the eggs before the nasties get out and eat up all your corn. Watch out for the crazy duck - if she gets out of the cage you?re in real trouble!
As most of you know, this is a true classic platformer!
Graphics
Chuckie Egg is one of those games that overcomes all graphical problems and looks absolutely superb on all machines while maintaining it?s trademark look, colours and overall feel. Sure the graphics look chunky on some systems but the CPC is less chunky than most and it plays at a massively addictive speed while not having to refresh the screen every second and maintaining the quality the game has demanded over the years.
Chuckie Egg doesn?t feature any of your cutting edge animation nor does it contain a large amount of colours on screen but from the moment you hit the space bar you will not put this puppy down for days!
Sound
Sound is the same on all systems, we are not presented with any opening music but we do get more than our fair share of in-game sound effects as you run around the place collecting the eggs and taking away the corn before those nasties get hold of it. Though there is no intro music we do get some funky mini-tunes when we loose a life, it almost makes it worth while in fact!
Gameplay
As we mentioned earlier this has got to be one of the most addictive platform games of all time. The game doesn?t feature anything flash and there isn?t much to make it stand out but once you start the game there is absolutely no doubt that you will keep playing and playing for at least a few hours.
If this game had a save option I think many of us would have played to the very end, no matter what the system or the spec of that system this game retains everything and demands to be played over and over again.
Get it now and you won?t regret it!
