In another strange little platform game from Audiogenic software its time to avoid the nasties, jump the platforms and get to the exit in one piece. Released back in 1985 this is one corker of a platform game as you will see in our review.

Graphics

Now the first thing. This game looks and plays like a real cartoon, from the moment you see that cool looking logo you know this is going to be something special. With superb detail on our main character and the entire level it is almost like jumping into your favourite comic strip and taking control of the lead character, with colours kept to print standards (4-5 colours) and detail upped to the max possible the game looks and plays like a dream.

Audiogenic are known for a bizarre sense of humour and once again the extra touch when you loose the game is superb, you will have to play the game to understand what we mean but for a game written in 1985 this is a great piece of coding.

Sound

Sound is reasonable but not superb, coming from soneone with the name "Audiogenic" you would almost expect great sound but sadly we miss out. The only sounds you will hear during play is an over the top buzzing sound (representing your jump) and a bang when you hit your head.

The problem with the buzzing jump is that it doesn?t know when to stop and often continues after you have landed on the platform, it?s not overly irritating but could soon get that way.

Gameplay

We certainly enjoyed playing this title as the graphics and sense of humour on display throughout are very good indeed for something that was written back in 1985.

This is a truly enjoyable platform game that can be picked up and played by just about everyone, the controls work perfectly and there is nothing overly complicated about the game itself. Most certainly worth checking out and adding to your collections.
