Dark Century

You control a squad of high-tech tanks and you have to destroy the enemy squad. The tanks can move quickly, make sharp turns or fire in all the directions.
Developed by Titus software we here at CPC Zone don?t hold much hope for this title.
Graphics
Despite being developed by Titus software who have yet to develop a single title to impress CPC Zone on any system this one doesn?t look that bad.
The game looks almost 3D but has not been created using the standard polygons and lines like those seen in Star Wars and other titles, it is still a convincing effect though.
After a while things do start to look the same on every corner and the enemies don?t really change from stage to stage. There are no major graphical glitches present in the game and it maintains speed at all times but the bore factor is still present.
Sound
The introduction music in the game will get you bopping along in seconds but certainly won?t keep you entertained for longer than a minute. Once the game starts we are treated to further music by Titus and some very impressive sound effects to go along with it, unlike other titles were you are forced to select either music or sound effects you get the best of both worlds with Dark Century.
Gameplay
As we stated eariler this isn?t a game that is going to keep you entertained for very long. You seem to spend most of your time roaming around the playing field shoot enemies and trying to keep up with the radar.
Once again Titus present a good looking game with great sound but fail on the most important factor, the gameplay. Our recommendation is to avoid it.
