This game is legendary. If you dont already know it, its probably because you are too young to know about it. I thank Elite Systems Ltd for keeping me up all night when was younger and turning me into a coca-cola addicted nerd with glasses.

Graphics

It does not have psygnosis-style graphics, but apart from that very nice graphics indeed, considering how old it is.

Sound

The music and sound for this game made history. Even today, when i listen to Commando MP3 remix it sounds pleasing to the ear. If any game deserves to be congrulated for its sound its this one.

I hope I dont offend anyone by saying that the sound on the C64 version of the game is better than on the amstrad version.

Gameplay

Very playable, very addictive. Classic shoot-em-up platform game that will keep anyone occupied for many many hours, trying to beat hiscore.
